SAINTS prop Dan Norman was in the wars today in the victory over Toulouse.

The big front rower went off with a head injury and failed his HIA - and coach Kristian Woolf explained that there were concerns over Norman's cheekbone.

Woolf said: "They are a little bit worried about his cheekbone. He has copped a fair knock there and has got a fair bit of bruising. It will have to be x-rayed.

"Everyone else has come through OK which is positive - we haven't had too many games like that."

Woolf also gave an update on missing quartet Alex Walmsley, Mark Percival, Will Hopoate and Sione Mata'utia.

Walmsley has been missing since picking up a foot injury late in the defeat by Wigan.

He wore a protective boot when he collected his League Leaders Medal after the game.

Woolf said: "We are still waiting for a CT scan to work out exactly what we do with Al.

"We are hopeful that he is going to available for a semi final but it is not a definite. He is obviously a big player for us – and we are hopeful there."

Woolf expressed confidence that the missing trio of Percival, Hopoate and Mata’utia will be fit to return and make an impact on the semi.

"We are quite confident with Percival, Hopoate and Mata’utia that they are all going to be available and I say that with a fair degree of confidence evn if there are a few things they have to get through yet.

"They are all running well and showing really good signs that they will be able to come in and train fully next week.

"If they do that then they get a good preparation in terms of being able to come back in and make an impact.

"Those three guys will do that, as will Al if we can get him right as well," Woolf said.

Saints brought the whole squad out for the LLS presentation - and several were sporting the effect of their injuries including Regan Grace, on crutches after Achilles surgery, and ACL victim Matty Foster.

"The number of blokes in white shirts on the podium give an indication of the amount of disruption we have had this year – players who would have been wearing a jersey if they were fit and healthy.

"There were a number of guys walking around with protective boots," Woolf said.
