A BUSINESSMAN is looking forward to starting a new venture in St Helens this weekend.

CBD & Co. is to launch in a prominent location on Boundary Road this Saturday, August 6.

For owner Ryan Little it marks another new chapter.

Ryan, who grew up in Nutgrove, and lives in Eccleston, has a background is in property, having the Little Estate Agents on Bridge Street.

In 2021 he took the reins of Pimmies Pies, based on Jackson Street, and hopes to revive the brand's presence in the town centre with a shop unit.

Ryan, 27, says he wanted to bring something different to St Helens and decided to launch a shop which specialises in CBD.

Having joined forces with owner of Viper Vapes in Earlestown Jamie Wilson, the premises on Boundary Road will launch on Saturday.

“As far as I know it’s the only shop which specialises in CBD in St Helens, and there is going to be a vape shop as well,” said the former Rainford High and Carmel student.

“CBD has proven numerous health benefits from improving arthritis, autism, addiction, pain, anxiety and stress.

“We are doing a full range, not just CBD oil but sweets, disposable vapes, creams, there are even products for dogs.”

Ryan added: “The shop’s in a very busy location, near the traffic lights on Boundary Road, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of cars that go past every day.

"The interior of the shop is also very nice.

“And there is also somewhere you can sit, it’s not just somewhere you walk in and straight back out.”

CBD & Co will have two other members of staff in addition to Ryan and Jamie.
