ENGLAND Women have been crowned as the European Champions.
For the first time in their history, England won the Women's Euros after a 2-1 win against Germany on Sunday, July 31.
Brought on as a 55th minute substitute, Wigan-born Ella Toone scored an incredible chip to put England in front in the 62nd minute.
After Lina Magull scored a 79th minute equaliser, the game was taken into extra time.
In front of 87,000 people at Wembley Stadium, Chloe Kelly then notched home a scrappy winner in the 110th minute.
At the end of the game, Arsenal forward Beth Mead was also awarded with the Golden Boot and Player of the Tournament trophies.
Coming as their first major honour, the Lionesses have made history in front of a huge home crowd.
