SAINTS' miserable 44-12 defeat at Salford was made even worse by two significant injuries to Regan Grace and Curtis Sironen.
Sironen suffered an injury that coach Kristian Woolf described as appearing similar to the torn bicep suffered by Jonny Lomax earlier this year.
Woolf said it was too early to assess the full extent Grace's injury - but the manner in which he pulled up was not a great indication.
Grace fell to the ground in agony with a lower limb injury with the last play of the game and was carried off by the Saints trainers.
Woolf said: "Regan went down without anyone touching him and that is usually a bad sign.
"He was with the doc when I went into the sheds so I haven't seen him just yet.
"At first glance Curtis looks like it is similar to Jonny's injury earlier in the year but we have to get that confirmed.
"It has been a tough year like that and for whatever reason we have had more injuries and disruption.
"But we are a champion team and part of being a champion team is getting through that and live by your standards.
"We have done a terrific job for most of this season but we did not do that today."
