- Second half tries from wings Regan Grace and Jon Bennison, converted by Jonny Lomax levelled it.
- After Saints missed three drop goals it went to Golden Point.
- Trinity had first stab - but missed it,
- Lomax was in the pocket to drop the goal, but juggled the ball and laid it back inside for Welsby to poke it over and send the travelling fans into rapture.
