A DRINK driver has been banned from getting behind the wheel for three years.
David Jones, of Gladstone Street, West Park, appeared at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court.
He pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle on Rainford Road on July 1 this year in excess of the alcohol limit, with 51 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
Jones, 42, was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 36 months.
He was also fined £120, made to pay a £48 surcharge and £85 in costs to the Crown prosecution Service (CPS).
His guilty plea was taken into account when sentenced.
