CORONATION Street fans have rallied in support of 11-year-old rising star Jude Riordan as he announces he’s been nominated for a prestigious soap award.
Jude, from Lea Green, plays Sam Blakeman, in the ITV soap and also stars in the Sky One series Brassic alongside Michelle Keegan.
His performances, particularly on the Corrie cobbles, have earned him plenty of award nominations and wins in his short career already, with the latest for the Inside Soap Awards.
Taking to his Instagram page – run by his parents – to announce the news, he said: “I am completely chuffed to find out I'm up for Best Young Performer at the Inside Soap Awards. AND my mate Bella is. I've shared the vote link in my stories and my bio so if anyone would like to vote for me you can find it.
“Thank you for all the messages so far. I have said before I have the best followers. I DO.
