MORE than 18,500 people will be in St Helens for the highly anticipated Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott gig at the Totally Wicked Stadium.

With the ticket sales making it a record-breaking crowd for Jacqui's homecoming show, here is all the information you need for the event.

Set times:

Doors: 17.00

The Lathums: 18.10 – 18.50.

The Proclaimers: 19.15– 20.00.

Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott: 20.30 – 22.30.

Curfew – 22.30.

Parking: 

There will not be any parking available at the Stadium site itself other than for pre-booked accessible parking.

There are 500 spaces available at Sherdley Park Golf Driving Range, which is around a 15 minute walk from the Stadium.

There will be a charge of £10 per vehicle and the facility will be fully staffed between 15.00 and 23.00. Please use the postcode WA9 5GP on your Sat Nav.

Town centre parking:

There are a number of Town Centre Car Parks available, which will mostly be made free on the day of the event.

Birchley Street Car Park – WA10 1HT (496 spaces) – open 24 hours.

Tontine Multi-Storey is the only chargeable car park, which will charge customers £1.50. Pedestrian access is via staircase only onto Chalon Way West, and is not recommended for Disabled/Accessible Parking. Sat Nav WA10 1NU (255 spaces) – closes at 23.30.

Parr Street Surface Car Park – Sat Nav WA9 1JU (57 spaces) – open 24 hours.

North John Street Surface Car Park – Sat Nav WA10 2JT (216 spaces) – opening hours vary, please check on the day.

Hardshaw Centre Rooftop Car Park (Pedestrian access via staircase only onto Hall Street, not recommended for Disabled/Accessible Parking) – Sat Nav WA10 1EB (170 spaces) – opening hours vary, please check on the day.

Transport and drop-off:

Train

The nearest train station is St.Helens Central, which is around 10 minutes walk from the Stadium, with frequent services running to and from Liverpool Lime Street, Wigan North Western & Preston.

For the Manchester/Liverpool line please use Lea Green Station which is less than two miles away from the Stadium.

Bus

Visitors can travel to Peasley Cross Lane, which is directly outside the stadium.

The following routes can be used: 17 (Widnes – St Helens), 28 (St Helens Circular), 30 (Chain Lane– St Helens – Sutton Manor), 32 (Clinkham Wood – St Helens – Sutton Manor), 32A (Clinkham Wood – St Helens – Clock Face), 35 (Gillars Green – St Helens – St Helens Junction)

Drop Off

Tesco’s Car Park on St Helens Linkway is the advised point to drop off and pick up friends and relatives, before and after the concert.

The supermarket is opposite the stadium and can be located using the postcode WA9 3AL.

Security: 

Security Staff will check your bags and search you on your entry to the stadium. 

Restricted items include:

  • Bags larger than A4 (small handbag) in size.
  • Folding Chairs of any kind
  • Large Umbrellas
  • An item that could be used as a weapon or compromise safety
  • Airhorns or other loud instruments
  • Your own food and alcohol. Numerous outlets will be serving food and drink within the stadium
  • Glass bottles and cans
  • Plastic bottles over 500 ml
  • Fireworks, flares and smoke cannisters
  • Laser devices
  • Professional photography equipment
  • Drones

For pitch access (general admission), fans can enter the stadium through the fan village located between the North and West stands.

Those with seated tickets can enter the stadium through turnstiles 21-24 and 25-28 for North stand.

Turnstiles 1-9 and 10-14 are being used for South stand seats.

The Event Box Office will open from 1pm and will be based in the Ticket Office outside the South stand.

Once you have entered the venue you cannot exit and re-enter under any circumstances.

Payment:

The Totally Wicked Stadium is a fully cashless stadium for all food and drink and merchandise, no cash payments will be accepted.

American Express cards are not accepted.

Food and Drink:

There will be a wide range of Food & Drink on offer, including Madri Lager and Stowford Press Cider on draught.

Wine, and Gin and Tonic as well as bottled water and soft drinks will also be available.

The Fan Village will also offer food & drink options.

Safeguarding:

Lost/Missing persons will be taken to the Red Vee Café situated within the South stand, near to main reception.
