CASTING agents are currently looking for people to take part in a new competition series – Squid Game: The Challenge.
The gameshow, which will air on Netflix, is inspired by the award winning South Korean TV series Squid Game which aired on the online streaming platform during the pandemic and showed people at the end of their luck taking part in a competition that quite literally meant life or death.
The new TV show is inspired by this, though all competitors will leave unscathed, and will also see 456 real players from across the UK enter the game in pursuit of winning a life changing $4.56 million.
Real life players will be immersed in the iconic Squid Game universe to compete in heart-stopping games to become the sole survivor with the full cash prize.
Casting is open to anyone over 21 years old and terms and conditions apply.
Filming is expected to take place in early 2023.
