CONOR McGinn has been unanimously re-selected to fight the next General Election as Labour’s candidate in St Helens North.
Mr McGinn, who has been Labour's Member of Parliament for St Helens North since 2015, received the backing of all participating branches across St Helens North Labour party.
After winning the Parliamentary seat in 2015, 2017, and 2019, he has regained the support of the local Labour party, as well as affiliated trade unions and socialist societies.
The local re-selection process formally concluded last week.
Commenting on his re-selection, Conor McGinn MP said:
“I’m delighted that our dedicated members and activists in our local party branches, affiliated trade unions and socialist societies in St Helens North have once again placed their trust in me to fight the next General Election as our Labour candidate.
“When in power, Labour can transform lives and communities overwhelmingly for the better. I’ll keep fighting every day to deliver on that promise for people here in St Helens North and right across Britain.”
