SAINTS prop Matty Lees is clear to play in Saturday's Magic Weekend derby with Wigan Warriors after the club's successful appeal against his one match suspension.
The RFL Match Review Panel reviewed an incident which occurred in approximately the 32nd minute of Saints defeat to Catalans Dragons where Lees was charged with a high tackle offence.
The Club challenged the ruling following the Grade A one match penalty notice issued to him and the Operational Rules Tribunal have since found the player not guilty meaning therefore no charge stands.
Lees is therefore free to play in Saturday’s Betfred Super League derby with Wigan Warriors at Newcastle’s St James’ Park (kick off 4.45pm).
