KONRAD Hurrell misses today's game against Catalans Dragons in Perpignan (5pm) due to sickness.
It means that Ben Davies keeps his spot in the centre, with Sione Mata'utia coming back from a two-match suspension to take Hurrell's berth.
James Bell is preferred to Dan Norman on the interchange bench with Saints going for more mobility on a hot day in the south of France.
Coach Kristian Woolf said: "Unfortunately Koni has been quite sick all week. He got sick earlier in the week and we thought he might come through and be feeling better by the end of the week, but unfortunately not.
"Travelling away on a plane on a hot day - we did not think he would be at his best.
"We thought he may also infect the rest of the team so thought best to leave him home this week."
He explained the reasons behind James Bell coming back in on the bench.
"It was a tough decision, but with the game we want to play and his ability with the ball and his footwork around the ruck, we thought a tough game in a hot day that could really work for us.
"That is particularly in attack, but he is an energetic little defender too - so it is great to be able to bring him back in," Woolf said.
Saints: Bennison; Makinson, Davies, Mata'utia, Grace; Welsby, Lomax; Walmsley, Roby, Lees, Sironen, Batchelor, Knowles. Subs: Lussick, Paasi, Wingfield, Bell.
