A CHILDCARE recruitment fair is set to take place next Saturday, July 9 with job opportunities and more about kick starting a career caring for children.

St Helens Borough Council’s Early Years Quality and Inclusion Team is hosting the event at the Ways to Work Centre in Church Square Shopping Centre from 11am to 2pm.

For those already working in childcare it is also an opportunity to network and learn more about new learning opportunities too.

Cllr Nova Charlton, Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, said: “Working in childcare is an incredibly rewarding career, where you get to help shape young minds and inspire future generations. There are a range of opportunities including training to help you progress further in the industry. Working in childcare has a range of flexible options for those who have other commitments. Come along and find out more about how you could help to shape young people’s lives, build aspirations and make a difference at this drop in session.”

To find out more about the event, or any opportunities in working in childcare contact the team at eyhub@sthelens.gov.uk or call 01744 673379.
