POLICE have arrested a man in St Helens on suspicion of an attempted murder in Nottinghamshire.
Officers from Merseyside Police, alongside Nottinghamshire Constabulary, attended a number of addresses across St Helens on Friday morning, July 1.
The officers were looking to arrest a man on suspicion of attempted murder.
The alleged offence took place in the Nottinghamshire area, police said.

Police said an address was identified and the suspect was found.
Merseyside Police did not reveal any further details in relation to the matter.
The Star has contacted Nottinghamshire Constabulary for comment.
