SAINTS will have James Bell and Sione Mata’utia back from suspension for Saturday’s trip to France.

It will leave coach Kristian Woolf with a decision to make on where Mata’utia plays given he was covering the injured Mark Percival centre role before he picked up his two-match ban.

Ben Davies, who this week signed a new deal at the club, has played there for the past couple of games to give the coach a choice.

Woolf said: “Ben has done a great job this past couple of weeks and is getting better with every run.

“That is what young players tend to do with the more opportunity they get and the more comfortable they become and their confidence allows them to express themselves and become better players.

“Ben has certainly done that and so that is something to consider.

“Sione has done a good job in the centres before and was a three-quarter before he became a back row so is comfortable there.

“At some stage, we need to get Sione back into his best position in the back row.

“There are still plenty of games left but we are on the home stretch and need to start looking towards what we want to look like when we get to the big games at the back end of the year.

“And we have got some big games this next couple of weeks.

“It is one we are going to have to figure out in the next couple of days.”
