POLICE arrested a suspected drink driver without a licence after a car was stopped by police.
Officers on patrol in St Helens town centre on Wednesday evening, June 29, spotted a silver Vauxhall.
Police allege it was just about to enter the bus lane but then decided against it, and turned back the other way.
Officers stopped the car nearby.

Police allege the driver had previously had his licence revoked, was driving with no insurance, and that he was in excess of the drink driving limit.
A suspect was arrested and later charged with failing to provide a sample of breath in custody; driving without third-party insurance and driving without a licence.
The vehicle was also seized.
