BEN Flower’s 2014 Grand Final assault on Saints half back Lance Hohaia is the most controversial of the images depicted in Wigan Warriors’ ‘mishmash’ artwork which was unveiled yesterday.
The piece of work, created by illustrator Alex Bennett, captures the highs and some lows of 150 years of Wigan in one image.

Bennett has previously designed football mishmash posters for Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and West Ham United.
It features dozens of iconic moments in the Cherry and Whites' history - including the scoreboard from the 27-0 Wembley win over Saints in 1989, the cross-code game with Bath, Joe Lydon's monster drop goal and the club's win over Manly Sea Eagles.
However, the inclusion of the infamous 2014 Grand Final incident – in which Wigan prop Flower twice punched the Saints half back knocking him unconscious - which has provoked a reaction on social media today.
Although Hohaia played on for the early part of 2015, the effects of concussion forced him into early retirement.
