SAINTS played their part in the build up to today's Armed Forces Day during the game on Thursday.

The parachute drop at the start formed part of the celebration of local and national Armed Forces.

The Liverpool Scottish Pipe Band was in attendance and there were some special guests from the Armed Forces with the Veterans of Foundation helping to present the match-ball.
