SAINTS coach Kristian Woolf was serenaded by the West Stand after last night’s victory over Leeds Rhinos.
When Woolf appeared on the pitch at the end of the players’ lap of honour the fans sang, “We want you to stay.”
But the Saints boss, whose three-year stay is due to expire at the end of the current campaign, played his customary dead bat on the question about his future.
Woolf said: “It is very humbling to hear the fans chant – they are a great set of supporters and we love what they bring every week and the atmosphere they provide and the songs they come up with.
“But I’ll say the same thing as I have said every other time.
“I am committed to what I am doing at St Helens at the minute and I love what we are doing as a team.”
