WITH the hot weather and long daylight hours, many will be considering an evening in the beer garden for a meal or a few drinks.

Carr Mill, East Lancashire Road
The Carr Mill boasts a sizeable beer garden for customers to enjoy food and drink while basking in the spring sunshine.
The Greene King pub's outside space has been a regularly popular hit with customers.
Ine recent review on TripAdvisor said: "Went to the Carrmill after a walk had the Steak Fondue Challenge!
"Perfectly cooked steak in the beer garden whilst watching the bowls, lovely atmosphere and great food".
The Brown Edge, Nutgrove Road
Another pub renowned for its outdoor seating area.
One recent review said: "Great home cooked food. Best by far and a very nice Bunch of professional people run the pub".
Turk's Head, Cooper Street
The popular award-winning pub is known for its real ale offerings.
The Cooper Street boozer also offers a large outdoor seating area for customers to enjoy a pint.
One review stated: "Spent a nice afternoon here trying their range of beers - great choice.
"The pub was lovely, nice decor, with a warm atmosphere and pleasant staff.
"We also had a meal that was good, so overall a really pleasant visit, so will definitely be coming back."
The Collier's Arms, Kings Moss
The Collier's is a popular destination for diners to enjoy a meal.
The Pimbo Road venue's offer include sits beer garden which customers can enjoy.
One reviewer said: "First visit to this venue but have heard about its good reputation for years. The reports were not wrong. Friendly helpful staff, good beer and excellent food in good sized proportions what more can you ask ?"
Pied Bull, Newton-le-Willows
The pub on Newton High Street reopened after a transformation in the spring of 2021.
Its features include its Secret Garden in which punters can enjoy a relax outdoors.
One review said: "This pub has an interesting interior, with its own charm and character and an excellent outdoor seating area to the front, which in good weather is a real winner.
"We had lunch here; the fish finger Butty was fantastic and the club sandwich was about the norm. Staff were excellent and overall we felt very welcome. Although it is on a busy high street there is ample parking to the back."
