HE won the hearts of Sintelliners with his performances on Britain's Got Talent.

Now 13-year-old Jamie Leahey, who finished runner-up in the show, is getting ready to meet his fans.

The Rainford teenager will be hosting a meet and greet on Saturday, June 25, between noon and 2pm at a sweet shop in the village.

The ventriloquist will be with puppet Chuck at Pick 'n' Mixers at Lords Fold, Rainford.

Jamie had opened the live final of BGT talent earlier this month with a tremendous routine.

He went down to the final two, but just missed out on the big prize and a place in the Royal Variety Show as comedian Axel Blake was crowned the winner.

Earlier in the night, Jamie received another standing ovation from both audiences and the judges for his act.

Speaking to Jamie after his performance, Amanda Holden said: "The whole of the United Kingdom was watching you tonight [and] your entire act was flawless, you should be so proud of yourself."

Simon Cowell said: "You have a real talent, you are really likable, and your material - bearing in mind you only had a few days to put it together - was brilliant."
