A LAID back bar, café and hang out is set to open its doors this week, so ahead of the launch of Eden’s we got a sneak peek behind the scenes.
The former Bar Java on Westfield Street has been empty since 2019, however Daniel Harvey and Shania Hackwell are taking over the popular spot and renamed it Eden’s.
The venue, set to open any day now, will serve food, live music, and a chilled out night time spot.
The venue also features a covered beer garden.
Shania said: “It’s exciting as the opening is any day now really just waiting for the nod from licensing.
“We’ve both always worked in the hospitality industry, but this is the first thing we’ve taken on ourselves and it’s exciting to do it together.
“We just want it to be a place that people can come, relax, listen to live music, actually talk and hear each other and enjoy nice food in the day too.
“We’ll announce when we open online but we cannot wait to welcome people in.”
