There was a crash on the M6
THERE are traffic delays up to Haydock Island after a crash on the M6 between a lorry and a car.
One lane is blocked and there is heavy traffic due to recovery work taking place.
This is following an accident involving a lorry and a car on the M6 southbound at Junction 22 A49 Winwick Link Road (Newton-le Willows).

Therer is congestion to Junction 23 A580 (Haydock).
Lane one (of three) remains blocked for the recovery of the car.
