WITH Saints having five players on England duty - plus three more pulling out with injury - they did not have to supply any to the Combined Nations All Stars team for tonight's game.
But with the game having such a strong Tongan theme - it was one Saints' Konrad Hurrwll wanted to be involved with.
Hurrell, who will be staying at Saints for another year after yesterday's announcement, walked our with the Tongan flag ahead of the game.
The England teams’ jerseys, plus those of the Combined Nations All Stars, had a strong Tongan flavour with 10% of all shirt sales going to the ongoing recovery efforts in Tonga following the volcano and tsunami earlier this year.
