A MAN and a woman accused of knowingly putting alcohol up for sale at a shop without a licence will face a magistrates' court trial.
Alex Halim, 43, and Jelena Bogla, were due to appear at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court.
They are both charged with one count of exposing alcohol for unauthorised sale at Kropka on Duke Street, St Helens.
Halim and Bogla are also charged with six counts of knowingly allowing an unauthorised licensable activity, the sale of alcohol, at the store.
The charges relate to dates between November 2021 and January 2022.
Both defendants have pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Halim, of Stratford Close, Bolton, and Bogla, of Wenlock Road, Hackney, London, are due to face a trial at the court on November 14 this year.
