AT just 22 years old, Chantel Galavan is already winning awards and making waves in the beauty industry.
The owner of Chantel Louise Beauty in Thatto Heath has been named St Helens Star Best for Beauty 2022.
She joins previous winners The Secret Halo, Burchall’s and Envy Nails and Beauty as well as Cinema Bar, Ashley-James Ward and Chipmunk Fingerpost as we search for the best of in different categories each week.
Last week, we wanted to know where in St Helens is Best for Beauty and Chantel’s loyal clients voted for her to take the top prize.
When she left school, Chantel worked in childcare for a year but changed professions and completed beauty diplomas in lashes, manicures and pedicures as well as waxing and spray tans.
She has her own beauty treatment room at Salon 154 on Thatto Heath Road, where she books appointments with clients Tuesday through to Saturday each week, working extra days during busy periods.
Satisfied customers at Chantel Louise “wouldn’t go anywhere else” as “she is amazing” and make-up, lashes and nail treatments are all popular with her loyal clients.
One client wrote a glowing review on her Facebook page.
It said: “I had a full face of make-up and lash lift from Chantelle and I will certainly be returning to her.
“She’s such a lovely woman who did an amazing job.
“I went with very little idea of what I wanted make-up wise and together we worked it out.
“I loved it and received so many compliments!”
Chantel said: “One of my clients rang to tell me I’d made the shortlist for this award and I was shocked so it’s even better to win.
“To have won Best for Beauty is a big achievement and I’m so happy.
“I’m extremely grateful to all my clients for their votes and for their support and I’d like to thank my family and all the girls at Salon 154 for their help over the last few years.”
