BRITAIN'S Got Talent ventriloquist Jamie Leahey received a huge ovation when he appeared at Saints yesterday ahead of the game.
Rainford High student Jamie, along with his trusted partner Chuck, recently came runners-up in the televised final last week with his performance of Marvin Gaye's 1965 classic 'It Takes Two', a quirky back-and-forth with Chuck, and even a 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire' segment.
Interviewed on the pitch yesterday as the players warmed up, Jamie said: "It's been crazy, we had such a brilliant time we didn't want it to end.
"Just getting to the final was a dream."
