A MAN has appeared in court charged with attempted GBH and dangerous driving.
Kevin Bartley, of Pigot Street, Newtown, St Helens, appeared before Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court.
Bartley, 36, is charged with, on May 17 this year, assault causing actual bodily harm (ABH) of a male in St Helens.
Bartley is also accused of, on May 27 attempting to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent to the same male.
He is also charged with dangerous driving of a red Ford Fiesta on King Street, St Helens on the same date.
The case was sent to Liverpool Crown Court.
Bartley was given conditional bail and is next due to appear at the higher copurt on October 31 this year.
