COFFEE fans rejoice, because a new venue is opening its doors tomorrow serving drinks, homemade cakes and more.
From 8am on Saturday, May 28, the doors on The Coffee House in the former Clarks building on Church Street will open - with fresh coffee, sandwiches and cakes in the menu.
The Coffee House, owned by brothers Chris and Stephen Shelmerdine, has premises in nearby places including Warrington, Widnes, Lymm, Runcorn and Huyton.
Today, the Star got an exclusive preview of the newest branch - which is the brothers' 11th store - which features two walls with dedicated artwork relating to St Helens such as Dream, Saints' stadium, Beechams building - and even a nod to our own Johnny Vegas.
Victoria Collier, the store manager, said: "We just want everyone to enjoy the coffee shop whether it be professionals, families with little ones or anyone with different physical needs. It's for everyone to enjoy and we can't wait to welcome everyone in."
Brenda Gartland, the store support manager, added: "We have been really excited to open in St Helens and hope the town will come out to enjoy our delicious coffee and homemade cakes.
"We have got feature walls dedicated to St Helens and are proud to open the doors tomorrow on the high street."
