A CROWN Court date has been set for a man charged with an attempted robbery of a jogger at Sherdley Park.
Keenan Fairclough appeared at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
He has been charged with an attempted robbery of a woman at Sherdley Park.
It was reported a woman was grabbed from behind and an attempt was made to pull her into nearby woodland.
Detective investigating the incident at the park on Friday, May 20 arrested a suspect on Monday, May 23.
A 35-year-old woman was running near to the golf driving range at about 1.45pm when a man grabbed her from behind and tried to pull her into nearby woodland.

The woman resisted and it was reported that when he spotted another woman walking nearby he released the woman and demanded money. She told him she had no money and he walked off towards the golf club.
Keenan Fairclough, of Phoenix Brow, St Helens, was remanded into custody after the court hearing.
The 21-year-old will next appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Wednesday, June 22.
