A TEENAGE boy has been found guilty of GBH over an attack in which the victim was struck to head with a metal pole.
Police attended Sherdley Park on the night of Saturday, April 2, this year.
It had been reported just after 10pm that a 16-year-old boy, had been struck to the side of the head.
Police patrols attended and a search of the park was undertaken while the 16-year-old was treated at the scene by paramedics.
He was taken to hospital for treatment and later discharged.

A 15-year-old boy, from Lydiate, Merseyside, was later charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent; possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and breach of a criminal behaviour order.
The 15-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded not guilty to the charges.
However, he was found guilty on all three counts at Merseyside Youth Court on May 11.
The case was adjourned until Tuesday, May 31 for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
The boy was remanded in a youth detention centre until then.
