FOUR-times Saints Grand Final winner Kyle Amor has thanked the supporters for their well wishes after it was announced that the veteran Cumbrian was going to finish the year on loan at Warrington.

Amor, who turns 35 this week, had signed a 12-month contract last November but had found his first team opportunities limited to four this term.

After the announcement of his departure was made at 5pm, fans sent their best wishes and thanked the popular Cumbrian for his endeavours in the red vee.

Tonight Amor responded: "As one door closes another one opens.

"I'd like to thank everyone for their kind words for both Saints and Warrington.

"To Saints I will forever be bonded to the club.

"I'm extremely proud to have represented the club and the town and be part of a team that brought so much joy to its people.

"I gave it my best shot and never gave up.

" Now I look forward to the next chapter and I will approach this challenge like I always have and give it my all.

"I am extremely grateful and excited to join Warrington Wolves.

"Marra."
