A VARIETY of work tools including a chainsaw, leaf blower and grinder were snatched by thieves from a van.
Police are appealing for information after the items were stolen from a vehicle overnight on Saturday into Sunday, May 22.
The Transit van which was targeted was parked on Markfield Crescent, Islands Brow.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "We are appealing for witnesses following a theft of work tools from a van in St Helens.
"At around 10.10am on Sunday, May 22, we received a report that a silver Ford Transit van had been broken into while it was parked on Markfield Crescent.
"A number of work tools were reportedly stolen including a chain saw, leaf blower, grinder and drill.
"An investigation is being carried out and enquiries are ongoing, including examining CCTV footage.
"Officers are appealing for anyone who captured any footage of the theft or witnessed suspicious behaviour to please get in touch."
