Common Road, Newton-le-Willows
A TWO-VEHICLE crash caused a road closure in Newton-le-Willows on Sunday afternoon.
Police have given details of the collision on Common Road, which led to a closure in both directions.
A BMW and a Nissan Qashqai were involved.
No injuries were suffered in the crash, a police spokeswoman said.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "At around 4.05pm yesterday we received a report of a collision on Common Road, Newton-le-Willows.
"It was reported that the collision involved two vehicles, a BMW and a Nissan Qashqai.
"No injuries were reported and Common Road was closed while both vehicles were recovered."
