SAINTS' win at Warrington Wolves last night was marred by a minority of the travelling support's behaviour.
A number of flares were set off - with one extinguished on the pitch.
And fans reported beer and bottles being thrown, with fellow supporters being hit.
Saints have this morning issued a statement: here
It was as untimely as it was unsavoury - coming the day after the RFL announced fines for misbehaviour by Warrington, Castleford and Hull KR supporters.

A number of fans took to social media last night to voice their concerns.
If youβre a Saints fan following me on Twitter who threw either of the flares onto the pitch, or who threw the pints into your own fans and onto the pitch, please kindly unfollow me. One of the pints landed on me and Joshua. π π€ π€¬ππΌ

I'm all for a great atmosphere, but there are lines being crossed now. It's not big and clever throwing a pint at a player and I know Wire did similar but that was also a disgrace, but flares are completely OTT especially when one hits one of our own & he ends up in an ambulance
