POLICE have charged a 22-year-old man in connection with a stabbing on Sunday morning.
Steven Arnold, of Catterall Avenue, Sutton Leach, has been charged with section 18 wounding with intent.
He also been charged with possession of a knife blade/sharp article in a public place.
Police were called shortly before 7.35am yesterday, Sunday 15th May, to Jubits Lane following reports a 23-year-old man had suffered puncture wounds to the leg.
He is currently in hospital in a stable condition.
A knife was recovered from a nearby wheelie bin and is being examined by police.
Arnold was remanded into custody to appear at Liverpool, Knowsley and Sefton adult remand court today, Monday, May 16.
