EMERGENCY services were called after reports a man came off his motorbike in Pocket Nook this afternoon.
Passers-by reported that a man fell off his bike on Park Road, near to Pocket Nook Street at around 12.30pm.
Paramedics treated the man at the scene, who is believed to have injured his leg and hip.
An air ambulance arrived at the scene, in addition to ambulances and police officers.
A Merseyside Police said: "We were called at 12.30pm today to reports a man had come off his motorbike on Park Road/Pocket Nook Street.
"No other vehicles were involved.
"The man has been taken to hospital with leg injuries."
