A MAN is in a stable condition in hospital after being hit by a car in the early hours.
The pedestrian, aged in his 30s, was knocked down by the vehicle, on Parr Stocks Road, Parr at 12.20am on Friday, May 13.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said he had suffered bruising to his head and suspected fractured bones in his back.
His condition is described as stable.

Police added that the driver stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their investigation.
Parr Stocks Road was closed for several hours, with residents reporting a large presence of emergency services in the area.
Police are appealing for witnesses and any dashcam or CCTV footage.
