YOUNG people who have been supported by the Think FAST Academy took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge last weekend.

Climbing the summits of three mountains in under 24 hours, the young people took on the gruelling challenge with former middleweight boxing champion Martin Murray on Saturday, May 7.

Set up in 2020, Think FAST was created to support vulnerable young people and those with limited opportunities, using boxing as a tool to intervene and prevent them from getting involved in crime.

The charity challenge was organised to raise money for Think FAST and The Steve Prescott Foundation, and took young people who the boxing academy first supported.

Starting the trek at 5am, Martin said: "It was a challenging day but a really good experience.

"Everyone had a laugh with each other and we created some top memories with the people we first began the Academy with.

"There was one lad, Rian, who smashed it. He's only 15 and it's great to see people like that, who crack on with things and really want to change."
