A MAN will complete a charity skydive in memory of his cousin, Adam Ellison.

Luke Oliver, from Eccleston, will take on the adrenaline-fuelled challenge in July to raise money and awareness of The Adam Foundation.

Luke, 32, was with Adam and his friends on the night he was fatally stabbed in Prescot, on November 4, 2017.

After trying to save his life that night, Adam's untimely death has had a devastating effect on his cousin.

Despite being involved in numerous charity events for the Adam Foundation - which raises awareness about the consequences of knife crime - these have often been a painful reminder for Luke.

However, he now wants to take on the courageous charity skydive to support the Foundation and remember his cousin in his own way.

Luke, a customer service assistant, said: "I still don’t feel strong enough to talk about that night in great detail.

"However, people who knew of Adam and the ADAM foundation will know how tragic the events of that night were.

"Following the tragic circumstances of Adam's death, I have struggled mentally to cope with the events of that night.

"I was involved in charity football matches, but I have found these to be too much of a reminder and therefore, had a negative impact on me.

"This skydive will be my own way of supporting and remembering my cousin Adam."
