A NINE-year-old girl from St Helens has created a hilarious TikTok video recreating what it’s like to be a scouser on Ladies Day.

Lylah Norman, from Thatto Heath, loves creating comedy sketches and uploading them to her TikTok account.

Today she shared one recreating how Scousers get ready for Aintree’s iconic Ladies Day.

Rachel Byrne, Laylah’s mum, said Lylah first started doing TikToks during lockdown and finds herself impersonating a scouse accent while doing so.

Rachel said: “She loves the comedy side of things when it comes to filming TikToks.

“She knew it was the races this weekend because I’ve been going on about wanting to go. I think she takes the mick out of me half the time.”

Rachel said Lylah wants to be an actress when she grows up and since uploading on TikTok has asked Rachel if she can start drama classes.

Rachel, who shared the video on her Facebook page which has since been met with thousands of views and shares, said: “She loves making people laugh she’s got quite a few funny videos but none have blown up like this one.

“When she saw how well the video had done she was like ‘I’m going to be famous!’.

Despite Lylah’s confident approach, Rachel said it’s all part of Lylah's character.

She said: “She just makes the videos up in her own head.

“She writes down what she’s going to do then just does it. I don’t have any involvement in her creative process.

“It’s funny really as she comes across quite sassy on her TikToks but in real life, she’s actually a really good polite girl.”
