RAINFORD Runners and Multi Sport are the newest running and triathlon club on the North West, having been established at the end of the winter 2021 lockdown.
Since then the club has enjoyed many notable results, the most recent being Nicola Jackson becoming champion of the North West Cross Country League and following it up by winning the St Helens 10k.

Other highlights have included Dave Gaskell racing for Team GB at European Championship level and Robert Chesters setting a run course record at last year's Splashworld Triathlon.
Membership is now open and offers a variety of training sessions, including runs on Monday and Wednesday evenings, a bike session on Tuesday nights at Pimbo and swim sessions twice a week at Edge Hill Sport together with the opportunity to purchase club kit from Apex UK, while open water sessions are due to start next month in St Helens.
