THERE’S plenty coming up to keep the kids interested at St Helens Theatre Royal this year.

There’s still time to join Dorothy and Toto on their epic adventure along the yellow brick road to the Emerald City with The Wizard of Oz running until Sunday, February 20.

The Tiger Who Came To Tea comes to St Helens from Tuesday, March 1 to Thursday, March 3, at various times across the three days. The show is directed by David Wood OBE, and is based on the best-selling book by Judith Kerr.

Dear Zoo comes to town on Monday, March 21 (4pm show) and Tuesday, March 22 (shows at 10.30am and 1.30pm).

Rod Campbell’s much-loved ‘lift the flap’ book has been a firm favourite with children and parents alike for almost 40 years and this colourful show is packed with puppetry, songs and, of course, plenty of animals.

American Wrestling is on Saturday, March 26 at 7.30pm. Audiences will be ready to rumble as they enjoy a worldwide championship spectacular featuring a Tag Team Challenge. Tickets also include a free meet and greet.

The second Spring panto from Regal Entertainments is a swashbuckling Easter extravaganza.

Peter Pan runs between Saturday, April 2 and Monday, April 18. Based on J.M. Barrie’s timeless classic about the boy who never grew up, audiences are invited to join Peter, Wendy and friends on their incredible adventure through Neverland.

Jurassic Park fans are in for treat with not one but two dinosaur-themed shows coming up. Dinosaur World Live between May 17-19 is inviting intrepid explorers across uncharted territories to discover a pre-historic world of astonishing (and remarkably life-like) dinosaurs with Jurassic Live on August 30 and 31 promising a “thrilling fun, educational and interactive stage show” and a T Rex that is the largest in Europe!

For slightly younger children, Peppa Pig’s Best Day Ever on June 22 and 23 gives you the chance to join Peppa, George, Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig on a very special adventure.
