Winsford Cross Shopping Centre will welcome the North West’s leading independent coffee operator; The Coffee House this spring, bringing a stylish new place for locals to eat, drink and relax in the centre of town.

Work will begin on transforming the 1,400 sq foot unit with indoor and outdoor seating for up to 70 people. It will feature the businesses’ signature black and neutral colour scheme and stylish lighting plus artwork that is bespoke to the local area.

As well as serving its famous three bean blend coffee; smooth, rich and sweet in flavour, it will also sell a range of other delicious drinks including a wide selection of loose leaf teas, hot chocolate, milkshakes and fruity Ice Coolers.

The new store will serve a range of freshly prepared sandwiches, salads and snacks, which are all made at the company’s central kitchen in Cheshire. Delicious homemade cakes and pastries will also be available - providing something for everyone.

The Winsford Cross store will be the 10th for the coffee business, which launched in 2011. The Coffee House has a number of cafes in Cheshire including Lymm, Northwich and Warrington.

"We are delighted that they are opening their 10th store in Winsford, it is going to be a fantastic place for the local community to meet-up."

Councillor Richard Beacham, Cabinet Member for Inclusive Growth, Economy and Regeneration at Cheshire West and Chester Council, said: “The Council is investing in Winsford’s future and we have now submitted a planning application to begin the first phase of redeveloping the town centre.

“The decision by The Coffee House to also invest in Winsford is further great news for the town. It shows it is an attractive place to do business and is becoming a more prosperous place to invest in.
