TWO men were arrested on suspicion of raping a teenage girl in Ashton-in-Makerfield on Monday.
Officers attended Old Road in Ashton-in-Makerfield at around 3.45pm to report a girl had been raped.
Two suspects in their 30s were arrested by officers and were taken into custody.

A police spokeswoman said: "At around 3.45pm on Monday, January 17, 2022, we received a report that a teenage girl had been raped at a premises on Old Road, Ashton in Makerfield.
"Officers attended and an investigation is underway.
"Two men in their 30s have been arrested on suspicion of rape.
"They remain in police custody for questioning.
