POLICE have reported a motorist for careless driving on the motorway this afternoon, Monday.
Officers from Merseyside Police’s Roads Policing Unit spotted the Audi driver travelling ‘at speed’ on the M62 between junctions seven for Rainhill Stoops and eight for Burtonwood.
After being forced to slow down due to traffic ahead, the driver was spotted by police in an unmarked car ‘cutting up other road users across three lanes’.
They then said the motorist was ‘braking erratically, causing others to take evasive action’.
