A MAN who was on the road while three times the drink driving limit has been fined.
Paul Eric Tunstall, of Harvey Avenue, Newton-le-Willows, appeared at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates’ Court.
Tunstall, 54, pleaded guilty to driving a Volkswagen Golf on January 17 last year with 114 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, more than three times the legal limit of 35.
He was fined £300, made to pay a £34 surcharge and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, making a total of £419.
His driving record was endorsed with 10 points.
