THE 50 worst places to live in England have been revealed, according to a survey.
A total of 110,172 people took part in the controversial annual survey from iLiveHere.co.uk, which asks residents their opinions on their home towns and cities.
St Helens does not feature on the list.
But several areas nearby have been included.
Liverpool was named in fourth, while Bolton was ranked at sixth.
Elsewhere in the north west, Oldham, Blackpool, Blackburn, Rochdale, Burnley and Accrington in 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 25th and 28th respectively.

- Luton

- Peterborough
- Bolton
- Corby
- Jaywick
- Slough
- Bradford
