Andy, a former Royal Marine, who was severely injured by an IED that left him with life changing injuries during his service in Iraq and Afghanistan, told graduates: “As you enter the next stage of your life, try to remember life is 10 per cent what happens to you and 90 per cent how you react to it.”

Andy said: “It was a huge honour to be part of such a special day. People in education have been hit so hard over the last 18 months and to even play a little part in that and give some words of wisdom was again a huge honour.”
