A TOUCHING tribute has been paid to a "caring family man" who died in a crash in Bold last month.

The man who sadly died following a road traffic collision in Travers Entry, Bold, has been named as Zaheer Ashraf, aged 53.

At around 7.40pm on Wednesday, November 17, police were called to a collision involving a silver Nissan Qashqai and a silver Kia C’eed.

Zaheer Ashraf sadly passed away at the scene.

Zaheer’s daughter, Safa and his wife, Faiza, have issued the following tribute: “Zaheer was a caring family man who cared deeply for his loved ones. He was always funny and loved making others smile around him.

“He loved giving his daughter sweets when her mum said no, and he tried his best to be the best father.

“He will be deeply missed, and much love is sent to him.”

Police added Zaheer’s family have asked for privacy as they grieve for their loss.

Inquiries into the collision are ongoing.
